STELLA CADENTE INTRODUCES CRUSHED ROSEMARY OIL
for immediate release (01-08-08)
Julia Kendrick Conway Stella Cadente Olive Oil Company announced today that they are introducing their new crushed Rosemary Oil at the NASFT Winter Fancy Food Show, held this year at the San Diego Convention Center, January 13-15, Booth #1940. Following the sell-out success of the 2007 debut of the crushed Basil Oil, partner and grower Lewis Johnson began trial pressing with the fall 2007 harvest. The second entry in Stella Cadente's herb oil line will be debuted in the traditional 200ml bottle size, and will also be available through Stella Cadente's bulk olive oil bars. The Rosemary oil is made by crushing fresh organic rosemary and mission olives together at the olive mill, and the resulting oil is an herbaceous and savory treat that showcases the unique flavor of the fresh herb. This oil pairs beautifully with grilled meats and vegetables, and is particularly delicious with oven-roasted potatoes. Though recipients of numerous top awards and honors for their artisan olive oils over the last six years, Stella Cadente's story is about the farmers, since the work of their hands brings the goodness of the land to our tables. Stella Cadente uses only olives grown and processed in Northern California, supporting the tradition of the family farms that feed us all. Our oils are produced the old-fashioned way; farmed locally and sustainably, hand-picked and crushed the same day. Stella Cadente's oils are available from select retailers nationwide, and from the website at www.stellacadente.com.
